Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of actuating and coaching functions in the management of non-formal education units. The method used is a literature study (library research). The results of the study show that the function of mobilization is a key factor in the effectiveness of non-formal education programs through leadership, motivation, communication, and learning innovation. In addition, coaching that includes institutional aspects, tutor competence, program evaluation, and community partnerships has a significant effect on the sustainability of the institution. Optimal implementation is found in PKBM, LKP, and taklim assemblies that have participatory governance and sustainable coaching. This study recommends strengthening transformational leadership and improving community needs-based training programs.
