Paradigma Tauhid dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Pesantren: Analisis Filosofis Terhadap Model Kepemimpinan Kiai

Pesantren are Islamic educational institutions characterized by a distinctive managerial system that is not merely administrative but also grounded in religious values. One of the fundamental values in Islamic education is tawhid (the doctrine of divine unity), which functions as a paradigm shaping the value system and orientation of educational management. This article aims to analyze the paradigm of tawhid in the management of pesantren education and its implications for the leadership model of the kiai (Islamic scholar and leader of the pesantren). This study employs a qualitative approach using library research and philosophical analysis of the concept of tawhid and leadership practices within the pesantren tradition. The data were collected from various relevant literature on Islamic philosophy of education, Islamic educational management, and leadership in pesantren. The findings indicate that tawhid serves as an ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundation for the management of pesantren education. The paradigm of tawhid generates managerial values such as sincerity (ikhlas), trustworthiness (amanah), responsibility, and an orientation toward worship, which shape the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising educational management. In the context of leadership, the tawhid paradigm forms a model of kiai leadership that is spiritual, charismatic, and grounded in moral exemplarity. Therefore, the leadership of the kiai in pesantren functions not only as an administrative authority but also as a central figure in spiritual and moral guidance within the educational process.
