In the midst of the moral crisis that has hit the world of education in the 21st century, spiritual approaches such as Sufism are becoming increasingly relevant to be explored. This article aims to examine the relevance of the moral values of Sufism in the context of contemporary education. Using a qualitative approach based on literature study, the author examines classical and contemporary literature on Sufism, and compares it with the moral challenges in the world of education today. It was found that the teachings of Sufism such as sincerity, zuhud, patience, and tawakal have great potential to be integrated in character education. However, such integration requires a pedagogical strategy that is contextual and applicative so that it does not stop at the theoretical realm alone. This study concludes that the morals of Sufism can be a transformative alternative in forming a person who is intellectually and spiritually complete in the modern era.
