(Etika Seorang Muslim Terhadap Diri Sendiri)
Keywords:
Morals, Heart, Happiness, Chastity, World, HereafterAbstract
Of the many verses from Allah in the 30 Juz, 6236 verses of the Qur'an, if we conclude about our morals towards Allah, there are at least three. In every situation, every Muslim must have these three things, namely; an-yuthaa'a walaa yu'shaa (let a Muslim always obey Allah, and not oppose Allah), an-yusykara walaa yukfara (let a believer always be grateful, and not be ungrateful), an-yudzkara walaa yunsaa (let a believer always remember Allah, and never forget Allah). Before Allah SWT, humans occupy varying degrees of status, depending on the piety that resides in their hearts and the deeds performed by their bodies. Allah SWT does not look at a person's appearance or physical appearance, but rather at their heart and deeds. A Muslim believes that happiness in this world and the hereafter is largely determined by the extent of one's self-cultivation, self-improvement, and self-purification. Furthermore, he believes that his own misfortune is largely determined by the extent of his own corruption, his defilement, and his wickedness.
